I have heard many stories lately about the very real existence of hell. Definitely NOT a place you
want to live in the here after. There is a pastor is NJ (I think), Robert McLaughlin of Grace Bible who talks about the very real existence of hell, and in particular a part of hell referred to in the bible as the Abyss. There is a story in the bible where Jesus drives out demons from a man, and when Jesus asks its name it says 'Legion,' referring to the fact that there were many. As they are driven out, they plead with Jesus not to send them to the Abyss, but ask instead to be sent into a herd of pigs.
Not to get to far off track, because this topic can be extremely in-depth. But I just found it interesting that several pastor teachers have mentioned the biblical location to the entrance of the Abyss to be in around the area of Turkey.
